Get ready to dance like a showgirl with Taylor Swift’s new album!
Who is ready for the new Taylor Swift album? Taylor Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl” will drop in the middle of the night on October 3rd and to celebrate, Target offers a special midnight release and an exclusive version of the album!
Currently, you can book most of the variations from Target.com or get the album first during its midnight release on Select Target Stores tonight. And all stores will be able to use the album at the store’s opening on October 3rd.
If you are heading into the store for a midnight release, make sure you arrive early. I will head to the store’s electronics section from 10pm tonight. There, they hand out physical or digital tickets and reserve your spot for purchase. After that, I will return to my designated location at 11:45pm and buy it in the middle of the night. Please note that not all stores are participating. Check the list here before you go out.

What is the difference between each variant?
Each of the options above has the same “Showgirl’s Life” song tracklist. The only difference between them is album art and any poster. Target exclusive options are also special. This is because it is only available on targets. Essentially, they are different versions of the same album, making it fun to collect.
“The Crowd Is Your King Edition Vinyl” is also a limited release, available only on target, first, only Press this variant. It will probably sell out soon and not be re-released.
