While promoting the upcoming season of “And Just Like That,” SJP has carried Freja’s Chrystie Bag, which is selling for $278, taking quiet luxury at new heights of affordable prices. Featuring East and West silhouettes that govern as one of the top handbag trends of the season, the Chrystie bag offers a sophisticated form that reminds you of the fendi baguette beloved by Carrie Bradshaw. Its architectural structure and soft buttery vegan leather encapsulate the minimalist aesthetic of the 90s, making it a new shoulder bag discovered everywhere, from downtown sidewalks to style influencer curated feed.

Freja also tested and reviewed the brand’s Mini Christie Bag, a favorite approved by the editors among the WWD shop team. Released in 2020, Freja was founded by designer Jenny Lei on the quest to create the perfect laptop bag. The New York-based brand originally launched with the now bestselling Linnea Tote, which has been 300 units, and has since expanded into a collection of everyday bags, from mini handhelds to sculptural shoulder bags. Nodding to 90s minimalism, the understated bags are all made from luxurious vegan leather, with most styles available for under $300 to shop. Along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Freja also created a star-studded list of celebrities fans, including Haley Bieber, Gabriel Union and Katie Holmes.
