At the beginning of 2025, I set my goal to try and create 12 new things I’ve never made before. (See this list.)
In January, my project was to make homemade vanilla. The February project was to make homemade focaccia using sourdough starters.
I love everything about cinnamon and sugar so I decided to try this recipe Sourdough Act for Cinnamon Roll Focaccia. I’ve learned almost everything I know about baking sourdough from the act of sourdough, but she hasn’t made me wrong yet.
Isn’t my sourdough starter cover so cute? It was a gift from Sourdough Act And it’s perfect for cold months to keep your starter warm.

This recipe contains very few ingredients! Perhaps you can substitute suzut or coconut sugar in your toppings to make it more refined sugar-free!

The actual preparation time for Focaccia is very minimal, but it takes a lot of time to rise and ferment. So, before you want to eat it, you want to prepare it a day in advance.

How beautiful is it? I usually use a cast iron pan to bake, so it felt especially fun and old fashioned!

I was very excited about what it turned out. It was delicious!

My family said Focaccia was also delicious!

Have you tried making your own homemade focaccia before? Have you recently created a new recipe or did a new DIY project?
