Would you like to escape from the winter wonderland?
I’m not talking about skiing, but going somewhere cold enough to wear fleece-lined tights. When it comes to winter layering, I have a few favorite pieces. These pieces aren’t the flashiest, trendiest items I post. However, these are my favorites and I’ll explain why below.
stem tights – I’ve been wearing these for years (don’t worry, I restock them with new shoes every year) and they’ve saved my feet season after season. It’s a great base layer to wear under trousers for added warmth, and it’s thick fleece lined, perfect to wear snugly with boots under dresses and skirts. I’m a big fan!
Wiz and Warren cashmere scarf – Another winter staple that has been in my closet for over 5 years is this oversized cashmere scarf. This is a worthwhile investment (again, I’ve had it for years) and is very warm and easy to snuggle up to.
Loeffler Randall boots – These boots are a recent investment I made for my winter travels and I love how easy they are to pair with everything. It’s fleece lined so it’s super warm and the rubbery outside makes it great in the snow.
Armada the label coat – This coat is a great lightweight option for urban winters, and I love the texture of it. It doesn’t look like a typical gray coat.
Après coat – If you’re looking for a lightweight down coat for those chilly LA nights, look no further than this versatile piece. I love popping it on over my workout clothes for a quick morning pick-me-up or a calm evening out with friends.
Falke socks – These are my favorite thin layering socks.
everlane sweater – My new favorite sweater is this one from Everlane. It’s warm without causing heat stroke, and honestly, it looks much better than the price.
J.Crew coat
– I first invested in this coat about 6 years ago and it has maintained its style 100%. It’s very warm, very chic and on-trend, but not so stylish that you need to replace it every year. It’s a great standard item.
Janessa Leone Beanie Hat – It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of my friend Janessa’s work. Don’t sleep with her beanie on. They will last a lifetime.
