May is always a really big shopping month. Not only is it the unofficial start of summer (usually accompanied by some new seasonal essentials), but it also has the second biggest sale day of the year: Memorial Day. Oh, and we also have the WayDay Sale (Wayfair’s biggest sale ever), which is also a great opportunity to save on some great home decor items. Since it’s such an expensive month, we thought it would be super interesting to take a look at the top selling items and share them with you all. As always, #1 was a bit of a surprise for us. Let’s get started!
Deauville 21 inch antique style table lamp
first, Really great lamp From Wayfair (which is funny because it’s actually Kelly Clarkson Home!). I did a “Find Cheap” post on WayDay and this lovely lamp was a great, affordable alternative to the super expensive neutral ceramic lamps that are flooding the market. I love the texture, the brass detailing, and of course the price. If you’re interested in purchasing one, it’s still on sale for just $67.
The last time Emily went to Target, she was again very impressed with the latest home decor items. This chair Unexpected! It’s from the Threshold x Studio McGee line (no surprise there either). Em loved not only the price point (it was a really nice size), but also how the shape was a really nice twist on a traditional style. And apparently, you all did too! Cashmere Mist Deodorant Antiperspirant Stick
Mal Gal has been raving about this deodorant for a while now, and now that I’ve tried it myself, I can see why. I had to borrow one while in Mexico (Thanks, Mal!!). If you haven’t already felt the heat, hot weather is fast approaching. For those of you who sweat a lot, this deodorant will not disappoint! I hope those of you who have already purchased it love it! Pull Down Kitchen Faucet for Cooking
If Rejuvenation is 25% off and you need a faucet, it’s a no-brainer, right?! We can see why. This one was very popular. It feels modern, yet will fit in a more traditional kitchen, and the brass from Rejuvenation is the perfect color (I know that firsthand). Plus, there’s no denying how great it is to have the pull-down feature. Congratulations to all the new faucet owners!
These are one of two short stories on this list, and both are fantastic. these They’re jean shorts so you can wear them casually, but the cute pleats on the front give them a slightly more polished look, so they’re versatile enough to dress up. If you’re thinking of adding them to your cart, Em recommends sizing up 🙂
I was very happy. These pants It’s on my list! It’s amazing, and I say that because I own it. I happened to see them on sale at my dad’s store, but after wearing them so many times I thought I might as well buy them at full price. They’re a little low rise (compared to regular high rise pants), but they fit me well. The fabric is just what I wanted, and I love the frayed hem. They look great on Em (obviously :)), but they look great on me too! If you’re on a budget and are thinking about buying them, I highly recommend them.
Another beautiful rejuvenating piece! I’m so happy I was able to take advantage of the Memorial Day discount 🙂 Em This sofa I’ve had it for a long time and I have nothing but great things to say about it. Look at the color and the detail. This is a very good leather sofa if you are considering buying one.

Other ShortsBut this time it was all about keeping it cool and casual. I think most people thought, “These are the perfect shorts for summer!” and I agree. The wash is light and fun, the distressing is just right, and I love that they’re a little longer in the back. Em was also really happy with that final detail.
Women’s Long Sleeve Narrow Waist Maxi Shirt Dress
The first place was a bit surprising, This one (#2) was not 🙂 This dress was an immediate yes for us and all of you because it has been a hot selling item ever since Em first wore it in her Spring Break fashion post back in March. It sold so well that we each bought one and made a post showcasing its versatility. Plus, it’s now under $30, making it even more of a bargain. We’re so happy that so many of you agreed!
Bravyn upholstered lounge chair
This chair It’s #1!! You might be wondering why we’re a little surprised, and it’s because we’ve been hyping this chair (or the Target version) for years. Six years, at least. But this chair looks great, is super versatile, and is comfortable to sit in. So maybe we’re not all that surprised. This is another chair we picked from our WayDay post, and we hope all of you new chair owners love it as much as we do.
