January
There’s a lot to be excited about as the new year kicks off with Ulta’s savings event, but other opportunities to save always pop up as the month ends.
Skin-loving event
Ulta’s Love Your Skin event will be running for three weeks starting in early January, helping to save your skin and giving it the TLC it needs to protect it from the wind and dry temperatures, while offering 50% off your favorite skin care products for three weeks.
Ulta Jumbo Love Sale
The biannual Jumbo Love event, carried over from the previous year, will return in the new year with discounts on shampoo, conditioner, and more. The event coincides with Ulta’s annual Love Your Skin event, the first big event of the year.

Beauty Event (aka 21 Days of Beauty)
The centerpiece of Ulta’s sales is their biannual 21 Days of Beauty event, which happens twice a year. Until the next sale in the fall, they’ll have you smiling with a ton of deals on cosmetics, skincare, and haircare products. The date changes every year, but you can set your clocks to the approximate time, with a margin of error of a day or two. This year’s spring sale started on March 8 and ran through March 29.
Ulta cares about its customers, so they won’t make you wait until the day to preview products. Ulta lets you see what’s on sale the following week (usually the previous Wednesday) so you can be properly prepared for spending, spending, and yes, more spending. Stay tuned for next year…

Spring Harvest Event
Ulta’s Spring Shopping Bash in April comes on the heels of Ulta’s Beauty Bash (formerly known as 21 Days of Beauty), which offers big discounts on luxury beauty products, plus a ton of daily deals. As you know, this event only happens a few times a year, and it’s the perfect way to catch up on all your essentials (and not-so-essentials) in between Ulta “shopping bashes.” This year it kicked off on April 9 and ran through April 20, with big brands in hair care, skin care, body care, and makeup on sale for up to 50% off.

Ulta Membership Love Event
This event first appeared in May 2024. Member Love is not a sale that anyone can take part in, but is only available to Ulta Beauty Rewards members, who can earn up to 10x points on purchases of certain types of products.
Gorgeous Hair Event
The Gorgeous Hair event takes place twice a year, with the first usually starting in May (and the second in October). Ulta perfectly timed this biannual event so you can stock up on those last-minute beauty products. During the event, all hair gear is 50% off, so your hair will look its healthiest for the rest of the spring season and the long summer. In 2024, there was no spring edition of the Gorgeous Hair event as in previous years. Instead, Ulta ran a month-long Member Love event in May, awarding members extra points for making certain purchases.
When is the next Ulta Gorgeous Hair Event?
If Ulta had stuck to its usual timing, this event would have taken place in mid-May of 2024. Hopefully Ulta doesn’t give up on this sale and still holds it, as it’s such a big event that they advertise it as a twice-yearly sale. This sale also takes place in the fall, usually in October.

Ulta Jumbo Love Event
The 2024 Summer Jumbo Love Sale (this year it’s called the Big Summer Sale) took place from June 23 to July 15. The Jumbo Love Sale takes place twice a year, in the summer and at the end of the year. This semi-annual sale offers up to 40% off top hair care brands, including Biolage, Joico, and Redken. It’s also sometimes called the “Ulta Liter Sale” because of the deep discounts on 1-liter bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and other products that will give your hair the most “jumbo” love ever.
Huge Summer Beauty Sale
The Summer Sale is Ulta’s way of helping you beat the heat. It usually takes place around the end of June each year and features up to 50% off summer skincare products, BOGO makeup, up to 40% off oversized haircare products including drugstore brands and premium products, daily deals, and more. This sale ran from June 23 to July 13.
July
Grow Up Sale Event
During Black Friday in July, the time when many major retailers hold their biggest summer sales, Ulta held a sale for its rewards members. The Ulta Glow Up sale ran from July 16 to July 21. During this period, Ulta’s Diamond members could get 20% off eligible purchases, Platinum members could get 15% off, and Basic level members could get 10% off.
National Lipstick Day Sale
As mentioned above, Lipstick Day is celebrated annually on July 29. Ulta will be celebrating the occasion by offering discounts on lipsticks, lip glosses, and more from popular brands like Fenty Beauty, Too Faced, and Bobbi Brown.
