These Henry Bars are super easy!
These Henry bars are my go-to recipes when I actually remember that we were supposed to bring snacks for a gathering (This happens much more frequently than I want to admit!).
If you’re looking for a simple dessert recipe that’s totally together and probably uses basic ingredients you already have, this is the recipe for you!
Just like the classic Henry Candy Bar, this dessert is very tasty with a chewy base of buttery brown sugar and oats. (Is that even better?)
These tasty bars are frozen well and gluten free as long as they use the right kind of oats.
One Pan serves the crowd.
Henry Candy Bar Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, It melted

How to make a Henry chocolate bar
1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2. In a large bowl, mix brown sugar, melted butter, corn syrup and quick oats.

3. Press the mixture into a well-buttered 9×13 bread.

4. In a microwave safe bowl, mix the melted chocolate chips and peanut butter at 30-second intervals (synthes between each interval) until completely melted.

5. Spread the chocolate mixture over the oat mixture.
