Welcome to my store-bought series that stopped buying in 2025. There, I challenge myself to learn to make items that I normally buy in stores. Today we are learning how to make homemade flour tortillas! They may not be a big money, but they have a large flavour and are surprisingly easy to whip. Here’s my simple, pointless homemade tortilla recipe!
This homemade tortilla recipe is super easy!
Now some of you who have been here for so long remember my post Why don’t I make my own tortillas?…But here: If you’re making these just to save money, you won’t save so much by making them yourself. However, if you have time, or if you’re worried about the ingredients in the tortilla or love the taste of a homemade fresh tortilla, you’ll want to try making it yourself.
Trust me about this, if you try a homemade tortilla, you will have a hard time going back to what you bought in the store!
Plus, they are very easy and can make proof of fools! And you can roll them out thinner or thicker depending on what you like and what you use them.
I usually change the recipes whenever I make them, but you don’t believe it: I actually didn’t change anything about its ingredients Original recipe! However, I like thick tortillas so I made the dough much thicker!
