Home Depot offers a variety of in-person and virtual workshops for kids and adults alike. All of these are free and cover a variety of topics and project areas.
Each children’s workshop provides a how-to kit designed to teach children how to create useful and educational projects, with an emphasis on tool safety.
What time does the Home Depot workshop start?
Children’s events are held on the first Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
It’s free and face-to-face, but Must register in advance — and make sure you’re registering the correct store location. And the slots always end quickly!

Kids Workshop Home Depot Frequently Asked Questions
The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to noon and will be “walk-in” style. You can stay there for three hours, or you can finish the project and leave right away. If you often don’t have time, you can also take the kit home and do the project at home.
