Everyone’s favorite doll is back to paint the town pink in the new Barbie x Stanley collaboration. This limited-edition collection captures Barbie’s iconic charm through the decades, with eight new exciting designs of the buzzworthy cups being released every day through September 20th. There’s even a Quencher for Ken!
Consider Barbie’s “Eras Tour,” a new collection of cup-shaped figures. This nostalgic collaboration celebrates the versatile doll’s 65th anniversary by tracing her signature style through each decade. Starting off, the 1959 Original Quencher wears Barbie’s first outfit (which you may have seen in last summer’s “Barbie” movie) referencing a black-and-white chevron-patterned swimsuit with bluish cat-eye sunglasses and hot pink accents. The bright orange ’60s Twist and Turn Quencher pays homage to the Barbie doll of the same name, while the pink-and-purple ’70s Superstar Quencher sparkles with glittering metallic stars.
Barbie got busy in the ’80s, so Stanley created four cups in tribute to that. The sparkly ’80s Peaches and Cream Quencher is adorned with sweet flowers inspired by the OG doll’s dresses, while the ’80s Rockers Quencher and ’80s Dynamite Quencher evoke Barbie’s rock ‘n’ roll and disco era with retro prints and bold graphics. And for a dose of retro Ken energy, the ’80s Western Ken Quencher is the perfect choice, with a contrast stitch print and the silver buckle he wore back in the day for plenty of “Mojo Dojo Casa House” vibes.
All new Barbie x Stanley Quenchers are sold in 40 oz. tumblers, with the exception of the Icon Quencher, an all-pink, iridescent cup featuring the doll’s iconic signature that’s also available in a 30 oz. size. All feature the same double-walled, vacuum-insulated construction and convenient cup-holder compatibility as the popular tumblers, and are made from recycled stainless steel and BPA-free plastic. Anticipation is already building for the new collab. TikTokThe words “Stanley x Barbie” already Ahead of the release, more than 35 million videos were posted by users celebrating the news and sharing their most coveted Barbie Dream Cups.
The sell-out Collector’s Quencher comes on the heels of Stanley’s much talked about collaboration with LoveShackFancy, which sold out in just a few days. In fact, the girly pink Stanley Quencher is a hot seller. The term “pink Stanley Cup” means a lot. TikTok Stanley’s fanbase boasts more than 120 million posts and a cult following, which led the brand to reissue its limited-edition “Pink Parade” Quencher and introduce a new “Peony” shade last May. Now, you can also purchase the limited-edition “Pumpkin Spice” Stanley Quencher Cup Collection, perfect for fall. Adorned with warm orange and bronze details, the three cups (which are surprisingly still in stock) are the perfect vessels to sip on during the chilly months, whether you’re sipping on an iced spiced latte or a comforting hot cocoa.
The Barbie-themed drinkware collection is one of the most exciting Stanley collections to date. While nearly all of the brand’s releases are essentially limited edition, this month’s collaboration offers true collector’s edition cups, given that fans sell out of stock as soon as they’re released. It’s also an exciting holiday gift idea to grab early for the Barbie or Ken in your life, whether that’s your wife, mother, girlfriend, or husband. Or it could double as a cute deskside decoration to brighten up any office workspace. As far as Stanley has revealed, these cups won’t be restocked, so if you miss the daily drop, the only way to get your hands on the Barbie x Stanley Quenchers will be to see them listed on resale sites at triple the price.
