Expecting a new baby through adoption and upbringing, or welcoming a new baby can feel like the most exciting adventure you’ve ever embarked on. But it can also feel like it will soon become expensive! Costs can be summed between diapers, formulas, clothing and gear. However, there are many ways to save money on baby items. One of them is to sign up for a baby giveaway!
Did you know you can win baby giveaways from many different companies, free baby samples, and baby welcome boxes? Think of it like a fun treasure hunt. Signing up for a few minutes here will generate items you’ll otherwise pay, giving you peace of mind and extra savings when you feel like your budget is growing.
Top locations to get free baby stuff:
An up-to-date summary of programs and registry that regularly send samples, coupons, or complete welcome kits. We also share information about who qualifies, how to sign up (and purchase or registry requirements) and provide tips to keep track of deadlines to ensure you don’t miss out.
1. AmazonBaby Registry Welcome Box

When you create Amazon Baby Registryadd at least 10 unique items and use $10 (by you or the gift giver), you can Free welcome box (As long as you’re an Amazon Prime member).
The content will vary over time, but often includes samples (wipes, lotion, small toys) and coupons for baby essentials. Claim:
- Set up the registry
- Add items for each checklist
- Wait for gift/purchase threshold
- Look for “Welcome Box” claims in the Benefits section of the registry
We got this and I loved some of the items in it. I’ve used it over and over again!
2. Gerber Mygerber Account (Free Samples & Offers)
By creating a Mygerber account, you can opt in toddler formula samples, coupons, and regular “surprise” offers. You’ll want to receive a free sample while you sign up. Provide an address so that it can be shipped when available.
3. The Beginning of the Enfamil Family (Praises and Coupons)
Enfamil’s Program (“The Beginning of the Enfamily Family”) You can register (e.g. date of birth/due) to receive free formula samples, coupons and other benefits (saves up to $400). You may get a sample pack mail, digital coupons, paper coupons, and one year of formula supplies.
4. BuyBuybaby Registry Complete Discount
BuyBuybaby has moved to a completely online model, and the traditional in-store “Goodie Bag” is no longer available. However, you can still create a registry Bed Bath & Beyond/My Registry Platform You will also receive a one-time completion discount.
Tip: Most other baby registries also offer some kind of completion discount! So be careful about that.
5. Similac (mysimilac Rewards; previously strong attitude)
Joining mysimilac’s reward It will help you get formula samples, coupons and welcome kits for free. This often includes free ShutterFly photobook offers, small sample packs to try out different Similac formulas, and digital/paper coupons.
6. Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (Free Book)
Through Dolly Parton’s Imaginary LibraryRegistered children (births up to age 5) in participating communities will mail one free, high quality book each month. It’s not one of the free baby boxes, but it’s a repeat giveaway that encourages reading and automatically arrives when you register.
Our kids love the free books that come through email. In fact, some books are probably ones we’ve read 100 times and they ask me to read them each night before going to bed! (Favourite before current bed from the imaginary library Help wanted: 1 cock! )

7. Free breast milk pump through health insurance (ACA Marketplace Plan)
Under the Affordable Care Act, Most health plans Unless the plan is grandfather, breastfeeding devices (including breast milk pumps) must be covered for free. You usually get the pump through an insurance network or a designated supplier.
Make sure your health insurance plan covers breastfeeding perks (please call member services or your doctor for recommendations). You can then obtain a prescription or letter of medical need from your provider if necessary.
Note: I was excited by this giveaway when I was pregnant with Mika, as my sister got a very expensive breast milk pump for free and with her insurance. I went through the entire process (this is quite detailed). So, know that it varies greatly depending on insurance!
8. Walmart Baby Registry Welcome Box

Walmart The free baby registry box program was renewed on February 1, 2025. Usually you can create a registry, keep it active, add a minimum number of items, and use more than $25 (customer or gift giver) to request a free welcome box with samples (diapers, wife, lotion, etc.).

9. Nestlé Baby & May (Canada)
In Canada, register Nestle Baby & Me (nestlebaby.ca) may be entered into offers, newsletters, and occasional sample promotions. Availability may vary by region.
10. enfagrow infant sample (enfamil)
If you have a child, Enfamil website Enfagrow may offer sample requests for toddlers’ drinks. You can sign up or take part in the family start to see if a sample of infants is available.
11. Motherhood Maternity Park Scrub
Joining Maternal Maternity Benefits Or, loyalty programs often bring in coupons, occasional free gift bags with samples (maternity/baby related), and exclusive deals of clothing and baby gear. Your email may contain codes for free or deeply discounted items.
12. Babylist Hello Baby Box
Hello Baby Box on Babylist It costs a small shipping fee (taxes above $8.95) but includes higher value samples (bottles, pacifiers, diapers, lotions, etc.). This is one of the boxes that have been praised more highly. Because it comes with a very high-quality item that is of great value and is worth the shipping cost.
Requirements: Complete around 40% of the registry checklist, add 3 or more items from other stores, make a minimum of $30 purchases at Babylist Shop, check your address and pay the shipping fee. Limit one box per box per year.

13. Free Unicorn Baby Swaddle (via Babylist Coupon)
Sometimes BabyList Hello Baby Box includes free coupons Unicorn Baby Swaddle (You just have to pay the shipping fee).
14. Free small exploration baby shoes
Grab a pair Small Exploration Baby Shoes (You just have to pay the shipping fee) and consumables will be the last. They run this promotion quite often, so be sure to check it out if it’s sold out or not live when you check it out!
15. “Just pay shipping” prizes (breast covers, slings, car seat canopy, baby leggings, ruffled diaper covers)
Many sites (e.g. FreeStufffinder) Track “Just Pay Shipping” transactions for baby items. These offers rotate frequently and availability can change daily. Example (confirmed before ordering):
