It may still be hot and sunny outside, but the holiday season will be upon us in no time! Don’t miss out on the hottest toys for the kids in your life (and the kids at heart)! Walmart releases infamous top toys list.
The list includes dozens of the most popular toys on the market for a range of ages, budgets and interests, giving parents insight into this year’s trends and kids inspiration as they create their wish lists.
Last year, Walmart released the list on Aug. 22, nearly three weeks earlier than this year’s Sept. 9 release, which will come as a pleasant surprise to those in the “let’s get through back-to-school season before we start talking about the holidays” camp.

in press releaseWalmart revealed that its 2024 toy list includes 66 of the most popular toys on the market, including 25 toys under $25. This year’s toy list includes classic items that are yearly hits, such as Lego sets, Hot Wheels cars and trucks, bikes, Barbie dolls and Little Tikes toy sets, as well as a number of new products based on this year’s popular TV series and movies, such as Bluey’s Plane and Wicked dolls.

Additionally, there are a number of toys available exclusively at Walmart, including Star Wars Force and Tell Darth Vader, VTech Thought & Discover Activity Center Wagon and LankyBox Giant Cyborg.
Newcomer: Barbie World
We noticed that Barbie dolls were on the list, but this year Walmart is taking its Barbie selection to a new level with Barbie World, a new exclusive collection created in collaboration with Mattel. This first-of-its-kind collection features a wide range of dolls, accessories and playsets, all priced under $25. You can find Barbie World online here, while in-store customers can enjoy a customized shopping experience.
