It’s the third day $100 Saving Challenge And I actually made today’s challenge early with some sort of accident!
If you read my post yesterday, you know you needed groceries, but our grocery orders were not scheduled to come to today. So instead of running to the store for some things like eggs, milk, yogurt, etc, we did with what we had!
More about everything I ate below yesterday…
But first, if you haven’t signed up for the $100 Savings Challenge, be sure to follow the instructions to sign up (there are prizes!!):

Day 3 Challenge:
Our fridge was pretty naked, but I was happy to get creative and come up with some food ideas. Here are some of the things we ate:
Eat from the pantry:
- breakfast: Eggs (I found an egg carton before I forgot I bought a few weeks ago!), the last Cheerios, fruit, toast.
- lunch: Stylish odds and ending – I had the Mandarin orange, mini tacos, a free sample of gym, plus salmon and the last bit of lettuce we had in the fridge.
- snack: I remembered this candy stash that was stuck at the top of the pantry and pulled it out and let the kids pick it up. They were excited! There was also a cracker and snack quest bar.
- dinner: Brown ground beef and onions served with rice and burger sauce on the side.
- After the snack after dinner: Blueberries sprinkled with walnuts and chocolate chips

We were totally off the veggies, but we interacted and actually had some pretty good food!
I had already counted the money I saved from not going to the store yesterday, so we say: $25.25 has been discovered/preserved in challenges so far. How much have you saved/find your own challenge?
