It’s day 10 $100 Saving Challenge And I don’t have much to report on my savings today. But I’ve been having fun talking about a dollar date this morning.
I went home from my trip to Atlanta last night. Kierstyn was doing gymnastics this morning, and she was really up and struggling with her around and was in the funk (I was having a hard time doing it for her for a week and she felt a bit of a certain feeling).
When we set out for gymnastics I could say she wasn’t in the best headspace. I was trying to understand what to do while we were driving, so I was encouraged to date her rather than take her out for gymnastics. And out of nowhere we hit bumper-to-bumper traffic – something you basically didn’t have at that point in the area. So we’ll be late for gymnastics.
So I looked at the back seat and asked Kiel Singh: “Would you like to go out for breakfast with me?” Her eyes brightened and she was very excited.
She asked if we could go to Wendy’s. If they were open for breakfast, I said yes!
Not only is it open, but there is also a $1 breakfast sandwich. Did you know that? She was absolutely excited and it looked back at her all day.
We sat down and spoke to the restaurant, then we got out in the car and sat down and put on makeup together (she looks very similar to Kaitlynn in this respect and loves to play with my makeup.
When we got home she excitedly told Jesse about our date. For a dollar (and some gas money), we created a special memory and she felt so loved. And later we’ll set up a gymnastics class! Spending time together was the most important thing today!
Speaking of money savings, I shared this tip on Instagram today. Have you used ChatGpt in your menu plan? It works surprisingly well. If you don’t like the idea it gives you, ask for more ideas, give them more information and try again!

So, since it was added to my total, we$95.25 has been found in the challenge so far.We’re on a home stretch and it’s almost $100! I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it, so I think I’m going to hit $100!!
