Creamy chicken and gravy on rice
This is one of my simplest and frugal recipes I’ve made many times over the years. My family would actually do that ask I’m making this (for me, it’s pretty interesting to me. It’s not even a “real” recipe in my opinion, so haha!). It’s a great way to run out of remaining cooked chicken and rice. In fact, if the chicken and rice are already cooked, you can place this meal on the table Within 15 minutes!
Perfect for upcoming cold autumn nights. Here you need a quick, inexpensive, and comforting meal that will satisfy the whole family for hours.

How to make creamy chicken, rice and gravy
1. Prepare 1 pound of boneless chicken using your favorite method. (Bring it to a boil, grill, air fry, grill, etc. I love sprinkling spices and baking it at 425 degrees until it’s done. The timing depends on the thickness of the chicken, but it usually takes around 20 minutes. Once the chicken is cool enough to handle, make it into a small piece.

2. While the chicken is grilling, cook 2 cups of rice using your preferred method. I always boil mine on the stove.
3. Melt the butter in a large frying pan over medium and low heat.
4. Whisk with 1/2 cup flour.
5. Gradually whisk with 2 cups of milk and 2-3 cups of chicken soup (Depending on how thick you want it to be, it will become thicker when you remove it from the stove)Stir constantly until thickened.

6. Mix the diced chicken and burn the heat. It is tasted and seasoned with salt and pepper (and as with other spices!) and served over rice.
7. Steam the broccoli and slice the apple (or add any sides you like).
