There are comfortable seasons. “Sweater Weather” is certainly my favorite Top Du Jour (which I might wear while eating soup). I’ve found some of my favorite sweaters in different styles (in various occasions) but everything feels comfortable and many are pretty affordable. We were on the coast all week, and it was definitely autumn weather and in the best way. This is what I love:
Polo-inspired autumn sweater

I really slept on the Alizzia train for a long time. I found theirs (I’m getting there) more “professional” than me (very cool suits). But the other day, when I went shopping in person, I found more than I needed to. That sweater There are several colors on top, with excellent drapes (it just falls in a truly flattering way), and the shape lands perfectly on the shoulders, boxy, and waist. Preppy and comfortable. I had the old navy This excellent oversized cable knit sweater It can act as a jacket or be oversized on leggings. It is long and very comfortable, and if I wear it, I add a scarf around the neck and a hat to give a pattern punch.

This one It’s very thick, very stylish, and great fit if you like it’s boxy and spacious (not too long). The colour is also excellent – it’s not too orange (in autumn), but it still feels seasonal. A rather thick warning is so great to wear on its own for warmth under a puffy hoodie, but nothing fits too much or adds bulk/bunch.

Simple cardigan fall sweater

This one I had been sneaking into my dressing room by a sales person (usually not my favorite move), but I tried it for fun and she was right. I came out quickly and said, “I’d never really been attracted to this” (mainly because it jumps up at $168), but my well, I’m forgetting how soft the soft cashmere is. And the fit is great. I usually see a thin sweater like this not that flattering and all the bits and bra strap bobs below, but this isn’t the case. It will smooth out on them while loosening. Does it look like I need to go to cashmere again? I’ve worn this a lot under my blazer, a jacket and my first layer, but I can also layer it over the tank (not a t-shirt – I think it’s too bundled).

This is another sweater It’s much more comfortable than you think. It looks like wool (and maybe that’s true), but what makes you feel like you’re wearing nothing is this crazy soft and fluffy blend, but it’s still very warm. magic. It also contains burgundy and cream. The fair island pattern is very classic and thin enough to be layered well under the coat (it looks thick, but is stretchy at medium weight, making it easy to layer).
