Please exceed my expectations! I’ve been considering a smoker for over a year to upgrade from a small tower to an offset, but didn’t want a pellet feed (I’m behind the times). I compared multiple models such as OK Joes. I placed my bet on this one based on the price and reviews of other Member’s Mark grills that have generally good reviews. This grill is well made with good quality thick steel and sturdy wheels (cast iron!).
Removable ashtrays on the main barrel and offset smoker not only make ash removal easier, but also prevent heat from direct contact with the bottom, helping it last longer. The silicone-wrapped handle is large and reflects this smoker’s good physique. It took about an hour and a half to assemble by myself following the simple instructions, but I recommend having a helper to make assembly easier. This item is shipped via freight and arrives on a pallet, so please plan on assembling it at the destination so you can use the wheels to move it to the desired location.
