Since I had previously created a family tree, entering it into Ancestry was very easy. My family tree has over 100 members! The DNA test results, which I received in record time, confirmed what I already knew about my ancestry, and added some meaningful results that I wasn’t aware of. The ability to link to related trees is a great tool that we are still exploring. I have never purchased any potentially relevant documents or records found by Ancestry, but they are a valuable feature.
I bought this for myself and my mom for Christmas. I first took a test to find out my mother’s potential mother and father. The funny thing is, my mom is an adoptee. I knew a lot, but now I know even more. I really liked knowing the percentage of my background, say 35 percent, is Swedish. If I were to do this again I would definitely do it!
I have tried other ancestry/DNA tests and Ancestry still provides the most accurate test. I like that new analyzes keep updating and can be added to the family tree/graph.
