Do not call it a comeback. Skin +Beauty House The founder Kay Ferguson sees a new home of the 1919 W. Cary St. in the Fan brand as a local Rich -Monders’s health -conscious community.
“I wanted to come, reduce, take off the load, just relax, and to be like a neighboring space to put the community here,” Ferguson says.
The combination shop and spa that opened last June accounted for 1,100 square feet and owned by Ferguson and husband from Richmond. Clinical products include acne care treatment, skin breeding, facial, Botox treatment administered by doctors, and wellness treatments such as red light therapy. On the retail side, there are various brands, including two lines formulated by Ferguson.
“Skin humanity is an in -house brand. It’s like a body care and skin care line, so it’s a body oil, body butter, face serum, and its type.” “Melaninskin Pro is another skin care line that focuses on acne care, face wash and toner.”
Ferguson’s beauty business Bonides has sold cosmetics, clothing and fashion accessories, starting from Jackson Word’s e -commerce shop and retail store’s first effort, styletless, which opened in 2016. A year later, the shop was changed to skin +beauty house in the same space, expanding it to include aesthetic practices.
However, Pandemic stopped momentum and forced Pivot again to Ferguson. “I was trying to function, but eventually closed the store in 2021,” she says. “But when we closed, I said,” I understand, how can we continue this? “So I provided consultation on online skin care and searched for appropriate space. We provided help while we were. In the meantime, she developed a skin care line and plotted a larger size and range.
“We wanted to reconsider it, but in a way that people are needed now, … many people don’t think skin care is an important healthcare. But I really wanted to return to a new space that could provide more services.
Ferguson has also introduced membership programs, including other benefits such as specific skin treatment and product transactions. The plan starts at $ 79 per month. The store is available from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.
