Hi! What do you think about an online-only home decor retailer that has been selling good quality, affordable products under the radar for years? was done It’s happening. It’s about time we all had a serious discussion about H&M Home. I mean… there’s something going on over there. Is it witchcraft? Magic? I don’t know! But it’s certainly one of my go-to sources for budget-friendly gifts, chic lamps, cheap but durable porcelain tableware, modernist planters, graphic vases and trays, and more… you get the idea. This has been one of my secret sources for years, knowledge imparted to me by Julie, who incorporated H&M pieces into her bedroom makeover, and is excited to share the word.
But before we get started, a few caveats to the class. Throughout the post, I recommend some small business alternatives to the pieces I’ve shared here. If your budget allows, go for it. Some of you aren’t quite there yet, and that’s okay. We have H&M Home to decorate our homes. By the way, H&M lists the materials and sourcing details we used in this class. But my budget doesn’t currently include items like “$1,500 mirror,” so I had to look elsewhere to get the same look for less. This H&M version It fits the bill perfectly, is a fraction of the price and I love the bright green finish. It also comes in beige and black.

(For those of you who don’t know, most people around the world agree that “kiki” refers to a sharp, pointed shape and “bouba” refers to a soft, curved shape. For example, everyone. All languages. Isn’t that great?
Regardless, these affordable statement lamps can completely transform the look and feel of your home – Diagonal version It can add an edge to a decidedly feminine space. Easy to hang metal planter box ($49.99) | Pedestal flower pot ($39.99)
I’m obsessed. I’m aiming for two. Planter box To freshen up my own balcony – I feel it’s about time to give the space a bit more life and this is the perfect size (not too big, not too small and a great price).
If you’re looking to create a midcentury vibe on a budget, I recommend this one. Tall flower pot? The fact is, this plant comes in a variety of heights (and, of course, colors) and looks very nice when combined. Wouldn’t it be fun to create a harmonious little plant corner?

Something about this pattern is very Luke Edward Hall To me (scroll down to the 2019 projects, doesn’t it have a bit of a Greco-Disco vibe?). I love the hand-painted charm, the classic motifs refreshed with a modern twist, and the playful colors. 10/10, I can eat crackers, sweets, or whatever you offer. This small plate.
For parents of small children
Fun Easter Basket ($3.99) | Small Mouse Hook ($9.99)
Check out the kids section at H&M please Baby fever? Or hormones? finally Is 32 already old enough? Well, that’s a story for another day! Today, we’re talking about the adorable and affordable kids’ items that H&M is selling in a big way. That is… for just $3.99. Felt Easter Basket With great reviews? A softer, cheaper alternative costs $9.99 On the sturdy bra hooks in Sarah’s bathroom? (They won’t develop the same patina, but they don’t cost $87, so I guess they’re fine.)
Kids Hang It All ($12.99)
Who is Eames? Just kidding. (Can you imagine?) The original Eames Hang It All is an iconic design with 14 hooks, a seven-week delivery time, and a price tag of $300. This modern interpretation is $12.99 and won’t cause any emotional turmoil for the whole family if a kid accidentally transforms it. (Trust me, leave the high-end products to the adults.) Plus, the product comes in several other shades, including beige and sage, that are chic enough for grown-up spaces, too.
Toy Storage Box ($17.99 – $19.99) | House-shaped bookshelf ($29.99)
These storage items It’s classic and simple, and it provides the perfect neutral backdrop for the plethora of brightly colored plastic toys, books, and supplies that are scattered around the house. Hello, it’s spring. Have you noticed your bathroom? It’s a very important place to you. Don’t you think it deserves a little refresh each season? Floral print It’s quiet, simple and clean (though not exactly groundbreaking by Miranda Priestly standards), but I really Ruffle trim curtains: It’s a combination that’s hard to find because it can be either super farmhouse or super glamorous.
For people who want to do what they want

To be honest, this section should probably be called “Things I put in my cart while putting this post together.” Let’s talk about it! Doormat I’m fulfilling the same desires of Luke Edward Hall. He obviously has a very unique style, and while this is by no means a perfect match, it has the same spirit. And the handle is cool. That basket? I think it would be perfect for storing shoes next to the entrance of an apartment that doesn’t have an entrance like my house.
Stoneware Clamshell Bowl ($29.99)
I’m obsessed with clamshells right now, so if you come across any vintage clamshells on Facebook Marketplace, please buy them! (Or send them to me via email and I’ll buy them!) This photo was taken a year ago I’ve been thinking about it ever since, and this bowl seems like the perfect size to try something similar. What do you think?

Well, duh. To be honest, I know my shape of dinnerware pretty well, but I think these two tricked me out at the flea market. They’re saturated in color and have a texture that’s reminiscent of classic vintage veggieware. Celery jar It would be a perfect match for my cabbage dish collection! Taper Candles ($20.99)
Tip: Swapping out your candles can have a bigger impact than you might think. Even if you’re not big on seasonal decorating, simply swapping out your candles can add plenty of color, interest, and a sense of time and place. (I mean, a dinner party with graphic striped candles can look completely different than a girls’ brunch with precious floral candles. It really is the little things that matter!)
