Now that we’re perilously close to shooting our living room (we finally got our main fixtures in place, YAY), I’ve been scouring the air for some last minute decor pieces. I’m also searching and pinning for the bedroom 🙂 Basically, your girlfriend has been hunting and along the way, she’s stumbled across some pretty awesome things that she thought would be fun and cool to share. Naturally, I want to bring more vintage into my home, so like almost everything on this list, it’s all from Etsy (why leave the house if you don’t have to). Well, all of these things have made my heart leap, so that’s really “Jess Coded” 🙂 And the easiest way to get my heart leaping is with a beautiful lamp. In fact, before I start, I have to show you a pair of vintage Japanese table lamps that I picked up at the Rose Bowl a few weeks ago for $80!!! (leaving the house sure does have its perks).
Can you resist?!! I was nervous about making the decision to purchase these cute light fixtures because they are meant to be installed on future nightstands that I don’t have yet. However, they were just too perfect and affordable for me not to take the risk. This honestly has absolutely nothing to do with this post but I really wanted to show you guys and like almost everything else in this post it is vintage 🙂 So let’s start with the light fixtures that you can buy or just look at like me!
Get out! I This cute baby In fact, one of the reasons I bought the table lamp was because I was originally buying a Stilnovo lamp ( these or This little mint Pick one and find a friend for it! ). But the pairs I’ve had my eye on have been more expensive than I’d ideally like (plus I was seriously considering it but am trying to spend my money wisely. Hmm). Anyway, this still isn’t cheap, but I think it’s super fun and special and I hope it goes to a good home, OK?
As you can probably tell, I am quite into Italian lighting, furniture, art and food, but that’s not relevant here. This one Amazingly beautiful. The shapes, the colors, the shine. It makes me want to cry. This lovely thing is quite expensive, but at least it’s a great inspiration/something to look for cheaper ones. If that’s possible. I think I need to book a trip to Italy again. Donations are very welcome 🙂
Well, then This one It’s an original print, but I still like it. The colors are bold but not too flashy, the handwriting on the side is very cool, and it feels unique. And of course the benefit of prints is that they are much more affordable than originals, and I can request other sizes if I have this one. Maybe I’ll have this one in my house 🙂
I’m pretty sure my love for quirky, hand-drawn art started many years ago when I saw Emily’s Submarine work. This work I can really feel that atmosphere! Some people may think, “I could draw that too.” That may be true, but vintage items have a different charm. I found this piece at a flea market last year, and I can’t wait to frame it.
It’s very weird and full of nonsense, but I love it.
These stools I really want at least one of these. FandFVintage is an Etsy shop I’ve been a fan of for years. They both sell vintage and handmade items, and they’re all amazing. These stools are new (to me at least) and might be my favorite so far. Did I mention they swivel? And are handmade? You can customize the fabric? I think they’re super cool and unique.
Another item on my shopping list is a unique wall mirror. Naturally, I want one. In this world But your girlfriend doesn’t have that kind of cash flow, and besides, I want something vintage and made from organic materials. This one or This oneBut when I saw This cute girl above It’s energizing. It’s too small for my needs, but I like it.
now This one It’s small for my needs, but if you These atmospheres So I guess this guy is a much more affordable option than living in the same world! How awesome is this braided metal?
Wow, amazing. This vase It’s not vintage but it’s handmade and super cool. The designer actually won an Etsy Award for 2023! I found this in my search while looking for decor and was immediately drawn to it. It’s not a perfect fit for my space but I hope it fits yours.
If you know my style This pick No surprise there. It’s cool, architectural and made of wood. Most people who see it will think, “What on earth is that and what is it for?” But all you need is a shelf or a surface and a little vision. You can make it into a cool bookend, stack books on it for a stylish display or combine it with other items into a cute vignette. The possibilities are endless.
I love you so much Vintage wooden finialThey come in all shapes and sizes, so they’re fun to style! Example A: Check out my little collection on a window sill in the photo below 🙂
They’re unexpected and so much fun! I bought two really tall vintage ones at the Lawson Fenning Warehouse sale last year and I love them so much I hope I can use them in my next shoot, so I totally endorse them as great decor pieces to add a little quirkiness to your home.
Another perfect vintage Stilnovo lamp I have no place to put it. Maybe one day I’ll have a bigger house and I’ll be able to fit all my dream lamps in it. The counterweight design is so cool, I hope EHD readers will buy one and use it forever. It’s not cheap, but if you have the budget, it’s a no-brainer 🙂 At least for me.
Okay, I just wanted to show you. This one Because I really like I was surprised when I first saw it, but even more so when I saw the price. I laughed out loud because I don’t think I would ever pay this amount for a small chandelier, no matter how much money I had. But if I ever become a millionaire, I’ll let you know if I change my mind 🙂
I hope you all enjoyed this as it was a lot of fun to show you a little more of what caught my eye. It’s really fun to see the differences in the things we’re all obsessed with. Have a great weekend!
I love you, I’m serious.
