On February 12th, WACO Theater Center, in partnership with Gilead Sciences, Inc. still here At The Gathering Spot in West Adams. The evening featured dynamic panel discussions, refreshments, and powerful community conversations.

The urgency is clear. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Black women accounted for 50% of new HIV diagnoses among women in the U.S. in 2023, but they made up only 13% of the female population and were 11 times more likely to be diagnosed with HIV than non-Hispanic white women.
