Taraj talks about riding camels in Dubai. Rather than reading the Broadway audience members, the excitement of performing live performances, and reviews on Wilson’s “The Arriving and Leave” in August, he hit “Straw” on Netflix, hearing from Oprah and joining the wine business with “7 Daughters.”

Taraji P. Henson and Cedric Entertainer will be co-starring in August Wilson’s Broadway Revival Joe Turner is coming next spring.

This marks the play’s third Broadway run since its debut in 1988, with the new production being directed by the legendary Debbie Allen.

A series of ten plays that capture the experiences of African Americans over the 10 years of the 20th century, part of Wilson’s acclaimed Century cycle. Joe Turner is coming It is set in Pittsburgh in 1911. The story unfolds in a boarding house filled with southern immigrants looking for connection, healing and a sense of belonging. Henson and Cedric take on the role of Bertha and Seth Holly, the couples who run the boarding house.
