I’m expecting my second baby. Pregnancy is a wonderful time, but it’s also a difficult time. No one reminded me that juggling all of this with a child is work. Also, with so many big changes happening, both physically and emotionally, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and negative at times.

Here are some tips to help you stay positive during your pregnancy. *I use these:

1. Ask for support:

Lean on your partner, friends and family for encouragement and support. Connect with other pregnant women to find positive influences that can lift your spirits.

2. Take care of yourself:

Make sure you eat healthy, get enough sleep, and exercise regularly. Taking care of your body will help improve your mental health. I hate to say it, but… it’s true. And don’t forget water!!!

3. Focus on the positive:

While it’s important to acknowledge and acknowledge your feelings, try to focus on the positive aspects of pregnancy: write down and reflect on the things you’re excited about and grateful for.

4. Practice mindfulness:

Living in the moment helps reduce stress and anxiety. Every day, different coincidences occur. A test may not go as planned, or negative thoughts may pop up. Try your best not to panic. Just because something happened to a friend does not mean that the same will happen to you.

5. Treat yourself:

Take time to pamper yourself every now and then, even if it’s something simple like having a relaxing bath, getting a prenatal massage, or going to a nice salon, that’s what I did this week.

Enjoy the beautiful journey of bringing a new life into this world.
