On May 15th, I officially stepped into a new decade – 40! It still feels surreal to say that number out loud, but most of all, it feels empowering. I immersed my real day in a quiet, grateful spirit, looking back at how far I have come, how much I have grown, and the beautiful journey that is still unfolding. This is my reflection of 40: a milestone birthday surrounded by love.
Then May 17th – my birthday party day – and wow, what a celebration! My heart is still very full. I was surrounded by love from every corner. The family flew from Canada and the UK, while friends traveled from various states across the United States. To add to the milestone celebration, I traveled to Phuket, Thailand.
A milestone worth celebrating
Turning 40 is a powerful, personal milestone. It’s an era where you really start to accept who you are – not just the people the world wants you. It’s a space of confidence, clarity and calmness. It reminds me that grace and growth can coexist, and that beauty is most radiated for purpose. For me, I couldn’t have more coincided with what I wanted in life with my purpose.
The past year has brought the challenges and shares of transformation, especially navigating health changes, evolving motherhood and building towards new things with my brand. But I have never felt any more grounds. Details of my skin. More yourself. I have found peace in everything that surrounds me. I am forever full of gratitude. There’s nothing better than surrounding my family and people who really love me and want the best for me. Life is beautiful, and I thank God for my journey to this horizon.
Party: Red Carpet Moments at Home
For celebrations, I wanted something that would never forget, something that was charming yet intimate. Dress code? “Vanity Fair will meet on the Cannes Red Carpet.” My guests were not disappointed. From velvet tuxedos to floor-length gowns, everyone brought A-games and of course I wore a custom black dress and later changed to this Hellsa Purple Dress Also I was wearing the beige version for my birthday shoot (please catch it) My Instagram). Our home has been transformed into a dreamy, elegant space filled with laughter, champagne toast, dance, delicious food and heartfelt moments.
