Unexpected Christmas – Synopsis
When the Scott family gathers for Christmas, Mama Scott’s (Anna Maria Horsford) dream reunion is quickly turned upside down. Daughter Marissa (Dominque Perry) returns home shortly after breaking up with her boyfriend Richard (Lil Rel Howery), but is shocked when Richard arrives arm-in-arm with his estranged sister-in-law Kelly (Reagan Gomez-Preston). Marissa tries to play it cool by inviting her own surprise guest to get everyone talking, while Kelly has plans that could ruin the entire celebration. Add in a few romantic mix-ups, an old rivalry, and plenty of family secrets, and everyone has a vacation to remember. This Christmas of love, laughter, and a little chaos here and there might just bring the Scott family even closer together. Or you could blow the roof off your house.
