TV One We are excited to roll out the red carpet for the premiere of our new original series. Enjoy the cityHe debuted in 8p/7c on Thursday, April 3rd! James Beard House-Honored hosted Chef Gernard Wellsthis enchanting show invites viewers on a flavourful journey celebrating black food, heritage and community. This begins in the vibrant centre of the Napa Valley, where black innovations in food and wine are flourishing.

In the premiere episode, chef Janard works with a pioneering figure who is shaking things in Wine Land. He connects with Robin McBride, co-founder of the famous McBride Sisters Wine Collection, to visit the legendary Brown Estate, Napa’s first black-owned estate winery, and enjoy delicious meals and wine pairings at Vinen Noir, a chic boutique celebrating black winemakers. And that’s just the beginning! This season, chef Jernard will explore New Orleans, Sag Harbor, San Francisco, Martha’s Vineyard, Nashville, Miami, the Bahamas and more.

To celebrate the premiere, TV One threw an exclusive red carpet bash at Atlanta’s Zucot Gallery, bringing together network executives, tastemakers, media and influencers. Special Guest Porsha Williams Join chef Jernard for an unforgettable night and toast to an exciting launch Enjoy the city. Don’t miss out on our culinary adventures.
