Central City Productions’ 40th Star Gospel Music Awards was held on August 16, 2025 at the historic Shermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The 40th Stellar Gospel Music Awards, hosted by Stellar and Grammy Award-winning duo Bebe & Cece Winans, will premiere on Saturday, August 30th at 8pm ET. Additionally, the ceremony will air on Sunday, August 31st at 8pm ET.
Themes of the show, our music, our voice, our culture, and performers include Jamal Roberts, Jonathan McReynolds, Nathan Davis Jr., Todd Durany, Tennessee State University’s New Direction Gospel Chorus Crispel III, Pastor Mike Jr., Pastor Mike Todd & Change Worship, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Tasha Page Lockhart, Tramine Hawkins, and William Murphy. Special guest presenters include Lil Rel Howery, Dominique Perry, Dante Bowe, Isaac Carree and Trina Braxton. Tyler Repley, Celaya, Devon Franklin, Doh more. Don Jackson, founder of Central City Productions, was awarded the James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award.
