It’s almost here! The first Monday of May is fast approaching, which means the Met Gala. Of course, we live to see the fashion, the decorations, the after-party haute couture and street style. But it’s also a must to know the official vehicle of the event. And, darling, we have the answer. Porsche’s new Macan is the official electric car of the 2024 Met Gala and will be used in a spectacular way by some of Monday’s attendees.
Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (“Porsche”) recently announced Macan is the Official Electric Vehicle of the Met Gala 2024. Additionally, in this role, select gala guests will be among the first people in the world to experience the new all-electric Macan on the journey to and from the event.
In parallel, Porsche is working with Vogue to create a branded content series called “True Essence,” which includes an episode featuring Kite founder and creative director Katherine Holstein. Porsche will also work with Vogue to showcase new cars in digital and print ads, as well as publish other branded content on Vogue-owned social channels.
To cap off this collaboration, the automaker will provide a meaningful financial contribution to the Costume Institute to support and encourage work in the artistic field. Awesome.
