Last Friday, I took my niece to Autumn. Vesta Home Showand we had a great time walking through all the houses. I’ve been going to shows for years and it’s always great to see what builders and designers come up with for homes.
Each home has its own unique atmosphere, so you’ll always have a fresh and enjoyable experience. The homes were gorgeous (as usual), but what I really love is how each designer brought cozy textures and warm tones to suit the seasons. Lots of soft neutrals, layered spaces, and little styling details that make everything feel even more glamorous. Nothing was overdone, but there was plenty of inspiration to take home.

If you haven’t been, Vesta Home Showit’s one of those outings where you can relax even if you’re busy. Just walk around, get ideas, people watch, and imagine how you would decorate if you had an unlimited budget (we all do, right?). We took our time walking around each space and pointing out things we liked. My niece is at a fun age (19) and has declared what her design style will be once she gets her own place, and she actually has very strong opinions about certain things (lol).

You need this whole setup in your backyard.

I’m obsessed with this floor. I tried copying some rug patterns. I love it!

My favorite room out of all the spaces. Those chairs! !

Each home had elements that I liked. My personal taste has evolved over the years from seeking a very gentle, natural/white, minimalist yet boho chic aesthetic (which was very blogger heavy many years ago) to now enjoying a more lived-in and cozy style that focuses on texture and learning how to properly layer elements. It’s gentle with a touch of bohème, but I don’t want that all-white look anymore. My favorite home is the one designed by Lovelace Studios. Their dream was to use rich colors, art, sculptural furniture, and rich textures throughout the home, allowing each room to have its own DNA (while also flowing together).
