What a beautiful evening! We thoroughly enjoyed the stunning looks from this year’s Met Gala 2024 glamorous show! From Zendaya to Mona Patel to Tyra, we were blown away by the attention to detail, right down to their gorgeous jewelry and accessory choices.
For this very reason, picking out a few ensembles to make the best dressed list is a tough task. In the past, some ensembles may not have fit the theme, but 2024 is completely different. Many gorgeous starlets brought the energy and excitement that the theme demanded and deserved.
As a reminder, this year’s Met Gala theme is: Garden of TimeThe Met’s new exhibition “Sleeping Beauties: Back in Fashion” So, as the red carpet progressed, we carefully analyzed each look, as we saw every fashionista do their own take on the theme.
So, let’s talk about what we all came here for: fashion. Here is our list of the best dressed at the MET GALA. Enjoy!
Met Gala 2024: The official best dressed list!
Zendaya
Maison Margiela is truly breathtakingly beautiful.
Tyra
This is truly original, a dress literally made from the sands of time, custom made by BALMAIN.
Lana Del Rey
Like something straight out of a fairytale, Lana is a custom Alexander McQueen dream.
Mona Patel
A vision! A moving butterfly gown by Iris van Herpen designed by Mona Patel. An icon of natural couture.
Alia Bhatt
Such a pretty saree, we would love to wear it too.
Nicki Minaj
The arrival of spring hits your screens as Minaj comes to life in Marni designs.
Mindy Kaling
The muted colours and exquisite construction details are executed with precision. Mindy works for Gaurev Gupta.
Elle Fanning
The teacher says the assignment is an A-plus, Fanning is a fountain of glamour and her Balmain and Cartier jewels are simply stunning.
Taylor Russell
She charmed us with her wooden bodice, a lovely design with a different floral pattern. Loewe Tay Tay is the best.
Rebecca Ferguson
She’s so… unique! I love this Thom Browne cape and gown combo that emerges from the decadent shadows of the garden.
Zendaya Look Two
She never puts things wrong, and here she is: our queen in archival Givenchy by the iconic John Galliano.
Emma Chamberlain
There is no garden without the finest soil. Emma perfectly reflects the beauty and essence of all the hues nature has to offer. She is one of a kind in her bespoke Jean Paul Gaultier.
Teyana Taylor
She’s the rose of the ball. Taylor blossomed in archival Blondes NY Couture.
Gigi Hadid
A breathtaking combination of retro charm and a stroll down a scenic floral path, Hadid looks commanding in Thom Browne.

Close call
It didn’t make the list, but it’s a very close favorite.
Eiza Gonzalez
There are some tulips blooming. Wearing Cartier and Delcor.
Davine Joy Randolph
We thought hard about this LEWK. Repunzel meets the denim renaissance. A decadent new take on jeans from the great Zac Posen.
Dove Cameron
Pretty. Delicate. And pink. Perfect for our vibe. Dove is Diesel’s floral scent.
Met Gala 2024 Fashion Sequel
Cardi B
Cardi always brings drama to the red carpet, and for that alone, she’s worthy of style praise. Tonight, she’ll be turning heads in the windows.
Jaylo
Very cute, perfect figure, Jenny is beautiful as always, just couldn’t see the theme completely, but the fit is great so still thumbs up.
That’s it! Did you have as much fun as we did? We can’t wait to do it again next year. By the way, which style is your favorite?
