I can’t believe it’s already March. Seriously, where do you need to be in 2026?? Time flies so fast and I wish it would slow down a bit, but I’m starting to get excited about what’s to come.
Everyone, spring is officially approaching.
Even though I’m a real cold-weather baby, there’s still something about spring that makes me feel butterflies. As all the cold and desolation begins to give way to new life and beauty, I start daydreaming about spending time outside in the sun, on the patio, traveling, and overall happiness. There’s a new feeling in the air and I can’t wait to see what the season brings.
One of the things it brings is the idea of a reset. Reset your closet, refresh your home, restart your healthy habits… you know what I mean? Basically, it’s time for a spring reset. I love my home (I’ll be celebrating 4 years living here next month), so I want to give my bedding and home office a refresh. years ago We collaborated with IKEA I’m planning on designing my home office, but I’m ready to make some changes. It’s really hard to get rid of furniture for some reason, but I really need a new office chair and I also have a small storage/TV stand that I need to get rid of to create more space. I also want a new coffee table.
My closets (well, I have 3 closets, haha) need some major organization. I regularly organize my closet, but this time I feel like I need to cut what I have at least in half. I have a lot of clothes that I no longer wear but I keep because they’re nostalgic, but I need to rip the bandaid off and let them go. I wish I could set up Depop or Poshmark, but that’s just one more thing to do, and I don’t want to do anything else “work” related. Also, I finally found a lot of the clothes that were on my wardrobe wish list, but I have so many that I’m getting lost. It’s time to let some things go.
When it comes to health, it’s time to get back on track. You’ve fallen off your workout routine and need to get back on track. I have to keep a schedule that allows me to go to the gym three times a week. My workouts are only an hour long (I split the weights between cardio and full-body workouts), but I’ve been getting distracted by client work and meetings and want to get back on track. That’s because working out regularly not only makes you feel better, but also helps add more structure to your daily life. I also signed up for Hotworx just before Thanksgiving and have only been there about 3 times (waste of money!!!), but I’d love to try it out before canceling my membership. I hope to attend at least twice a week. It was fun getting there, but getting there was tough. I also want to cook more than I ever have, but that’s a topic for another day (lol).
Everything else is very good and I’ve found that resetting these areas makes a huge difference overall. So while I’m a little sad to see winter go (the official first day of spring is the 20th of this month), I’m also excited to see what’s to come.
what about you? Are you resetting something in your life? Are you looking forward to spring?
