The actor also shared a lighthearted moment regarding the newly unveiled Madame Tussauds London wax figure. Famously, he successfully unlocked his phone using Face ID, leaving his fans equally amused and surprised. Wearing the same suit and Christian Louboutin shoes that Elba wore when he met King Charles III, the surreal figure marked what he called a “full circle” moment and paid homage to his Hackney roots.
Elba also talked about his creative process while filming Season 2 of Hijack for Apple TV+. The high-stakes thriller, in which his character navigates an intense hostage situation in real time, moves from a hijacked plane to the subway in the new season.
