Walt Disney Studios captivated the audience at the 2025 Cinemacon® Convention in Las Vegas earlier today, offering sneak peaks that are highly anticipated for upcoming theatrical releases. The showcase included several films from the prestigious production studios, including Disney Live Action, Marvel Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, 20th century studios, and photography from Searchlight. Among the highlights was Lindsay Lohan, the winner of the Cinemacon Vanguard Award, attended Jamie Lee Curtis and discussed it. The duo shared the excitement of the film and announced an expansion trailer and a special montage.

Freakier Fridain, a sequel to his beloved 2003 film with a multi-generational twist starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, will be released in theaters nationwide in 2025. The story is picked up a few years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endure the crisis of identity. Anna currently has her own daughter and soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the countless challenges that come when the two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning could actually attack twice.
“Freakier Friday” is directed by Nisha Ganatra. Producers include Christine Burr, Andrew Gunn and Jamie Lee Curtis, with executive producers Nathan Kelly, Anne Marie Sanderlin and Lindsay Lohan. Other cast members returning from the original film include Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucilson, Steven Tborowski and Rosalind Chao.
