Previously on Friday August 1st, I had the absolute joy to attend Freakier Friday: Generations Clash BranchesNot hosted other than Kelly Ferrell of Real Housewives in Atlanta. It will be held in an iconic way Nana Chicken & WafflesLet this event be Y2K, family fun and truly incredible southern food.
From the moment I walked I was carried straight into the early 2000s. Guests were dressed to impress rhinestones, velour tracksuits, mini bags, butterfly clips and more, with the best Y2K-inspired looks. The atmosphere was the perfect mix of playful nostalgia and adult glamorous.
Now let’s talk about food I’llNana never missed, and this brunch menu was the next level. I had the opportunity to try some dishes, but honestly, everything was a solid 10/10. This is what hits you there:
Fried Green Tomatoes – Crispy, tangy, perfect South Starter
New Orleans Style Vignette – Powder Perfect
Cajun Grit Cake – Creamy and spicy, very satisfying
Strawberry Chicken & Waffles – Sweet, Flavored, Beautifully Plated
Southern Fried Catfish – Light, flake, seasoned
Ram Punch – Kick, Fruity, and Dangerously Tasty
In addition to the delicious menu, brunch was delivered with entertainment and ambiance. The guests enjoyed DIY Friendship bracelet station, abundance of photography, family-friendly girls night energy. It felt like a scene that came straight out of the modern era Funny Friday The event is a fitting as it was inspired by an updated family of films and an updated take on unexpected swaps. As Tess and Anna discover FREEKY Fridaylightning can It attacks twice, so you can enjoy it.

It was a realistic atmosphere and star-studded event, where everyone came together to celebrate the food, fun and family joy.
Whether you came to witness Eats, Y2K Vibes or The Celeb, Freakier Friday Brunch was a complete experience. If you’re lucky enough to catch one of these events in the future, don’t run. And then I get hungry.
