Marvel Television has released an all-new trailer and stills for the upcoming series Wonder Man. The eight-episode series is created by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Spider-Man: Brand New Day) and Andrew Guest (Community, Hawkeye) and stars Emmy Award winner Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams and Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley, reprising his role as Trevor Slattery from Iron Man 3. “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” and “Long Live the King.”

The series follows Simon Williams, an aspiring Hollywood actor who is struggling to get his career back on track. During a chance encounter with actor Trevor Slattery, who is preparing for a major role, Simon learns that legendary director von Kovac is remaking the superhero movie Wonder Man. These two actors at opposite ends of their careers doggedly pursue life-changing roles in this film that gives audiences a peek behind the curtain of the entertainment industry.
All eight episodes will be streamed exclusively on Disney+ starting January 27th at 6pm PT. In addition, the Wonder Man soundtrack, featuring an original score by composer Joel P. West, will be available on all Hollywood Records digital platforms on January 30th.
