They may live in the smallest state in the country, but what drama is there for them? Extra large. As “The Real Housewives” approaches its 20th anniversary next year, Bravo is expanding its celebrated franchise with “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island,” spotlighting a group of fresh, charismatic women whose lives intersect on New England’s storied luxury coastline.

The premiere season of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island follows Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare, Ashley Iaconetti, Liz McGraw, Lula Neeme Pontarelli, Kelsey Swanson and Jo-Ellen Tiberi as they navigate the ups and downs of Rhode Island’s tight-knit social scene. The new series premieres Thursday, April 2nd on Bravo (9 p.m. ET)

I have a burning question for Andy Cohen and Bravo. Are we really supposed to believe that there isn’t a single person of color in the entire state of Rhode Island worthy of casting? Seeing another lineup made up entirely of white women with no diversity at all feels out of place and frustrating. In 2026, representation matters, and it’s long past time for Bravo to reflect the real world on screen.

Anyway, let’s meet the ladies inside…

Influencer and former “Bachelor” personality just found her Prince Charming on TV Ashley Iaconetti She soon learns that life after “I did it” is not as blissful as she had imagined. Ashley’s loyalty is tested as she raises two young children, adjusts to life in Rhode Island, and co-owns a failing cafe with her husband Jared. This is when Rosie claims she has no allies.

Dolores Catania was born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey, one of five children of Police Chief Lawrence Spagnola and her mother Valerie. Dolores has taken an untraditional path to fame, working as a waitress, shampoo attendant, and surgical assistant, but it was her time working in prisons that led her to develop a passion for helping the underprivileged, especially families suffering from unjust circumstances. As co-parents of two adult children, Dolores and ex-husband Frank Catania have delighted viewers with their unconventional and loving relationship as friends, even though they divorced decades ago. In 2018, Dolores was crowned “Miss Congeniality”, a fan favorite across the “Real Housewives” series.

Dolores is known for her philanthropic work, especially with women’s shelters and animal rescue organizations. She received the Key to the City of Paterson for her contributions to the community, and in 2020 received the Ambassador of Hope Award from Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn for raising awareness of women’s health issues.

Rhode Island’s Cannabis Queen liz mcgrawshe not only runs one of the most successful pharmacies in the country; of Who do you know in the smallest state in the union? When Liz learns that she and her husband, Jerry, will soon become grandparents, she makes one thing clear. That said, I’m not going to trade couture for a rocking chair. As she prepares for a new chapter in her family life, shifting dynamics within her inner circle will test her influence and the bonds she has held for years.

alicia carmody He joins his fiancée Billy’s popular restaurant, Pizza Mamma, and is about to start his era as Boss Baby. Alicia, a proud self-proclaimed “flip-flop,” might be calling you “fucking” one minute and inviting you in for a hug the next. When Alicia opens the vault of her past, she is faced with the challenge of navigating years of relationships and personal growth, leaving her lifelong friend completely blindsided.

Rooted in tradition, guided by faith, Lula Neeme Pontarelli I value my family above all else. She is proud of her Lebanese roots and brings deeply rooted values to the group, especially when it comes to marriage. When rumors about her husband begin to spread, Lula is forced to face uncomfortable questions that question her faith, resilience, and dedication, and her personal life is thrust into an unrelenting spotlight.

Former Rhode Island television newscaster Rosie Dimare Her husband, Rich, is upping the ante by trading in their cozy apartment with attached garage for their expansive dream home. While Rosie focuses on growing her local lifestyle program, she also faces challenges within her inner circle, forcing her to re-evaluate her loyalties and where she truly fits within the evolving close-knit group.

kelsey swanson She has lived a charmed life as a play house beauty queen in a castle owned by her wealthy boyfriend. Now, Kelsey is at a crossroads and must decide between living comfortably in a gilded arrangement or taking control of her future. When her loyalty to Liz is tested, Kelsey faces the group’s toughest hitter and worries about losing her biggest cheerleader.

Jo-Ellen Tiberi She may not be known for making dinner, but she’s definitely spilling the tea. As confidential information about Lula’s marriage circulates through the group, Jo-Ellen finds herself torn between honesty and prudence. As unresolved issues with her mother resurface, she is forced to confront long-buried childhood wounds and consider the personal cost of being someone who always tells it like it is.
