Today, Disney-branded TV announced that season 3 of “Popular Family: Louder and Puder” will premiere on Disney+ on Thursday, August 6th. Ahead of its summer debut, the series was renewed in its fourth season, and appeared on Disney+ in 2026.
From creator and executive producer Bruce W. Smith and executive producer Ralph Farker, Season 3 is proud of Penny, with her loyal crew embarking on international escapes, wild adventures, and cheerfulness, heart and most of all, a fantastic stop filled with discoveries.
New guest stars Janelle James, Sanaa Lathan, Neil Degras Tyson, Lynn Whitfield, Adrian Warren, Kirk Franklin and Baba Wallace will be joining repeat guests. Kurt Farquhar is back as a songwriter and composer. Season 3 includes 10 new original songs by Grammy Awards songwriter and producer Roccstar.
The revival of “Popular Family: Louder and Puder” picks up the tales of its central figure, Penny Proud, and her iconic family. Penny’s side is her loyal crew: Dihony Jones, Lasienega Bruvaldes, Zoe Hautzer, Maya Leibowitz Jenkins, Michael Collins. Produced by Disney TV Animation and Bar Production, the series has attracted recognition and critical acclaim for winning a Namic Award, multiple NAACP Image Awards, including the Outstanding Animation Series, and a Children and Family Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting in the Animation Series. Additional accolades for the series include nominations for the Glaad Media Awards and Annie Awards.
All episodes from the first two seasons and the previous seasons of the original series are streamed on Disney+.
