First Look: Lifetime’s I Thought My Husband’s Wife Was Dead

Premiere Saturday, August 8:00 PM/7:00 PM CST Lifetime’s new original movies I thought his wife was dead It’s sure to keep viewers hooked this summer.

Based on the novel “Unmissing” by best-selling author Minka Kent, the new thriller stars two-time Grammy Award winner LeToya Luckett. (Green leaves, Treme), Sherilyn Allen (Coroner, She went missing), Jamal Johnson (Mahalia, How to catch a murdererAngela “Black China” White (Black Hamptons, Malicious Affair) also stars in this thriller. I thought his wife was dead The story centers on Lola Winters (Cherilyn Allen), a beautiful, pregnant wife who seems to have it all: a big house, a cool husband, Leo Winters (Jamol Johnson), and a thriving restaurant business. But Lola’s seemingly perfect life is interrupted when Tori (LeToya Luckett), a ghost from the past, suddenly turns up on her doorstep searching for her husband, Leo, who has been missing for years and presumed dead. Tori’s unexpected return raises tensions and changes lives as everyone questions her motives and why she doesn’t go to the police.
