Today, Disney has released a teaser trailer and poster for the enthusiastically anticipated “Freakier Friday,” starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan. The film will be released in theaters only on August 8, 2025.
In the film, Curtis and Lohan recreate their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman. The story is picked up a few years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endure the crisis of identity. Anna currently has her own daughter and soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the countless challenges that come when the two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning could actually attack twice. “Freakier Friday” is directed by Nisha Ganatra and is based on Mary Rogers’ book “Freaky Friday.”
