I love finding pieces that instantly become wardrobe staples. The other day, I stopped by LOFT while shopping and found a pair of wide pants that fit perfectly. I haven’t shopped at LOFT in the past few years (I don’t really know why), but I will go again. Palmer Wide Leg Pants Brushed Corduroy It’s absolute perfection.
I hate high-rise pants (they’re too tall for me), so if I see a pair of jeans or pants in a store that have a mid-rise fit, I have to try them on. I’m really glad I tried this because not only do I love the fit, but the length is perfect, long enough to wear with heels, but short enough to wear with flats.
I also love a good poplin shirt (it’s one of my new favorites), so I gave it a try. This striped one Just looking at it, it was a perfect combination. It’s light and crisp, and has a slightly loose fit, so you can wear it as is or layer it with a loose sweater or cardigan.
I decided to style this look with silver flats rather than brown or black boots. I love how the whole look is put together. The silhouette is so pleasing that you’ll want to make it over and over again.
These cords come in three other colors (and petite!) But this fit is also available in other products, so I’ll be back to try out other styles.
