During the event, Saldana revealed that the title of the new Avatar movie is “Avatar: Fire and Ashes” The actress first appeared on screen in 2009 as Neytiri in the film Avatar.
Elio is an upcoming animated film from Pixar scheduled for release in 2025. As announced at D23 on Friday, August 9, 2024, Saldana will join the cast of the film to voice Elio’s Aunt Olga.
“I felt a real connection to the character and wanted to see a representation of how a real family works on screen. I felt that the relationship that you and I share in the film was real,” Saldaña told D23 via Variety.
For this event, Zoe wore a sexy corset-like top with a skirt that had a little shine to it. Underneath, she wore a white bikini top with floral appliques. I thought this was a great look for her.
