Uba Hassan is a Somali-born model, philanthropist, and entrepreneur with an outgoing personality that is apparent before she even walks into a room. Driven by her passion for life, she founded her own hot sauce company, UBAHHOT, which she hopes will be her ticket to big success in New York. After gaining initial momentum with an appearance on “Oprah’s Favorite Things,” she is looking to take her business to the next level. Due to her difficult upbringing and desire for total control, she feels pressured to do it all on her own, without the help of investors.

Rick Owens Raquel Schubmont
Born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx, Raquel Chevremont is an art curator with over 20 years of experience working with institutions and advising companies, collectors and artists. She has curated a collection of award-nominated films and TV series featuring artists such as Daud Bey, Natia Lemay, Glenn Ligon, Julie Mehretu, Gordon Parks and Deborah Roberts, among others. Some of these include Severance, Empire, Law & Order: Organized Crime and And Just Like That…. Additionally, Chevremont was discovered as an elite model in 1993 by photographer and model scout Steve Landis. She has appeared in advertising campaigns for Benetton, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Fila, L’Oreal and Nivea, as well as on the cover of International Elle magazine. As a proud black queer woman, Chevremont is committed to representation and using every platform to give voice to queer people abroad. She is the co-founder of Josie Club, a Black queer women-and-women-supported and female-run social impact group that organizes community around collaborative event production.
