Jesse Buckley and Christian Bale didn’t just attend the premiere. They took over all the fashion at Cineworld Leicester Square in London. The duo made their official debut with flashbulb frenzy and commanding the white carpet with effortless cool. Bride! Go to a full-fledged fashion event. The intense energy is further fueled by a front-row worthy ensemble that includes Penelope Cruz, Jake Gyllenhaal, Julianne Hough, and Peter Sarsgaard, who have assembled to celebrate director Maggie Gyllenhaal’s sharp creative vision.

Always a fashion chameleon, Buckley gave a masterclass in theatrical chic by conveying the possessed soul of his on-screen counterpart. Styled by visionary Daniel Goldberg, she leaned into a dark, romantic aesthetic that felt both raw and sophisticated. Her outfit choice was a true ‘you-know-it’ moment for the fashion set. The chiffon gown was chosen from Maison Margiela’s legendary 2024 Artisanal collection, John Galliano’s last career-defining haute couture presentation for Maison Margiela.

The deconstructed bridal design was a masterpiece of modern drama and avant-garde transparency. Beneath a sheer bodice and flowing godet skirt, Buckley layered nude cone bras and precisely sculpted corsets, creating a silhouette that felt equal parts archival and futuristic. The final effect was hauntingly beautiful, perfectly on-theme, and a perfectly dressed tribute to the Bride of Frankenstein, proving that horror and high fashion are a match made in cinematic heaven.
