Queen Bey has been one of music’s top artists for decades. And the reason for her longevity isn’t just her amazing songs and discography. But her amazing style and makeup should also be praised. She’s a trendsetter, from her dazzling leotards to her platinum blonde hair. However, achieving the perfect look can sometimes be challenging. Grab a bite to eat, don a face mask, and enjoy BeyoncĂ©’s makeup stories straight from former makeup artist Marie Roncal.
Long ago, Roncal was a woman who was Bey’s right-hand man. We’re talking about the Destiny’s Child days and the beginning of Mrs. Carter’s solo career. So consider the music video for “Lose My Breath” and the music videos for “Naughty Girl” and “Baby Boy.”
But Marie didn’t just collaborate with Sasha Fierce. She had many celebrity clients. Roncal was basically the MUA of the It Girls of the 2000s. Marie quickly rose to prominence in the beauty industry, working with top celebrities such as BeyoncĂ©, Jennifer Lopez, and Angelina Jolie. Her Mally Beauty line debuted on QVC® on March 5, 2005 and sold out in just 36 minutes.
So what is this talented woman doing now? Of course, I am also involved in beauty and entertainment! Twenty years later, Marie remains a beloved QVC® character. She currently hosts a weekly series called “Over 50 & Fabulous” where she discusses real-life issues with women who embrace who they are. She also shares makeup tips for mature skin online through social media.
She is also a motivational speaker and what she calls a “positive preacher.” She is someone who shares a journey of resilience, boldness, and unapologetic character. As you can see, Roncal is still booked and busy.
