Ayo came from Boston sitting with Jimmy Kimmel, returning to high school, was amazed by the mayor on “Ayo Day,” staying in her childhood room, starring in a photo of her age and nickname, the return of the “Bear” from FX, and one of her episodes with Lionel Boce.

The show relates to a young chef at a fine restaurant who returns to Chicago to run his family’s sandwich shop after suffering a tragic death in his family. In a world away from what he’s used to, Carmy must balance the soul-shattering reality of small business ownership, his highly willed rejection kitchen staff. His tense family relationships while tackling the effects of his brother’s suicide. As Kermy fights to change both the store and himself, he works with a rough edge kitchen crew who will ultimately reveal his status as a chosen family.

Ayo Edebiri plays Sidney Adam, a talented and ambitious sou chef who joins the team with Chicagoland’s original beef, and helps the restaurant move to bears. She is a central figure and is tasked with bringing order and structure to a chaotic kitchen and restaurant.
