If you’re a sneaker lover, you know that today is a special day in the sneaker world. It’s what we call “the special day of the year.” Air Max DayYou may not know this, but Air Max holds a special place in my heart. InstagramYou may have noticed that I’ve become more and more obsessed with sneakers over the past year. To be honest, I’ve been obsessed with sneakers on and off since I was in high school. In fact, I still remember the first sneakers I fell in love with. They were red and white Air Max 90s. I loved the look of them and they looked so fresh, but I never had the chance to get my hands on them.
Fast forward to 2020 and we’re in the middle of a pandemic. Like most people, I was really focused on comfort and how to make clothes that were super comfortable and super stylish. One day, my husband surprised me with a Nike box. Inside was: Air Max 90 I’m wearing todayI was so surprised and in awe because I’ve always wanted this classic silhouette.
There’s something special about Air Max to me: the nostalgia, the variety of colors, and the clean look. That’s it! You can’t go wrong with Air Max and I’m glad my husband remembered how special this silhouette is to me. It didn’t take long for him to buy a pair for himself. When Air Max Day came around this year, I knew we had to represent them!
