When I’m invited to a glamorous event, I definitely light up. If you need a ballgown or just need an excuse to dress up, join me. So when I received an invitation to cover the red carpet of rapper Jeezy’s 5th Annual Snow Ball Fundraiser Gala, I was immediately intrigued, especially when I learned it would be held at the ultra-chic Delta Air Lines Museum.
Now, I’m the kind of girl who always has a few gowns on standby, as there are events almost every night in Atlanta. That’s right, your girl is ready! Over the years, I have learned that being well-prepared is a must.
For this special night, I called my daughter Tyra to style my hair with a little bit of Old Hollywood glamour. My makeup artist Quinn finished the look with the perfect soft flattering beats that perfectly complimented my gown. I especially liked how she made my eyes pop.
The perfect dress was hidden in my closet. It was a sparkling dress that I received last year at a black tie gala that I never got to attend. It fit like a dream and shone beautifully under the lights.
