My boys are now 11 and 15 years old, and over the years they have played dozens, hundreds, and thousands of specific toys. Here are five people…

Anton got Yo-yo During my trip to Ireland and since then I’ve covered it every few months to learn new tricks. I can imagine him doing this forever as a teenager, college student, adult, dad, grandpa.

As I said before, Toby’s favorite toys – 1 to 10 years old (!) – Wooden bus. As a toddler, he pushed it and pulled it around the living room. As he grew older he pretended to be wooden people. It’s one of the toys that can be millions of different things.

We loved a lot of games – Uno, outfoxed, Dog bingo – But the most loved one is Who do you guess?. (what about you?)

Dark stars for bedroom ceiling. For years at bedtime, we hugged under the sparkling “sky” and felt very dreamy and cozy. When we host our overnight guests, even guests from the 70s and 80s, they are always pleased!

And I know this is not a toy, This little step stool It has become a convenient thing many times. My friend Kendra, who has three children, gives us it when Toby was a baby, and the boys grow up standing on it, brushing their teeth, washing their hands, reaching a higher bookcase, chop up vegetables, and giving them a name. Sometimes when a handyman comes, they use it too.
What do you want to add to the list? Ah, this is the same Ice cream set And a Nelf hoop!
PS #1 trick to enjoying family trips and three words that changed how I changed my parents.
