Last night, Anton and I sat in front of us waiting for our guests to arrive…

…My brother Nick and my cousin’s son Jimmy (aka Anton’s second cousin) Arrived from England to spend a week with us in Brooklyn. When Jimmy is the first in America and asks him what he wants to do, he rides a cyclone on Coney Island? See the view from the Empire State Building. – He asked me seriously, “Do you guys have Dunkin’ Donuts?” Jimmy, we do.

What a fun task to think about how to display a 13 year old around NYC. What are some fun activities especially in Preteens? Last night we rode pizza, bikes and scooters along the river to the Brooklyn Bridge. on the other hand Sunset. My brother also cemented his “fun uncle” status by doing Willie and going down the stairs.

This morning, poor Jimmy woke up at 5am (Jet lag!) but patiently waited until we all got excited a few hours later. We then got our bagels and walked over and took some goofy pictures. Next: I go shopping for “trainers” and go to Yankees games. (Toby is visiting my mother now, but they will be back in New York on Friday for an even bigger reunion.)
Plus, flashback:

Jimmy and Anton of Cornwall (Cousin’s Age, Left to Right: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8!). They were naughty soulmates from day one.

Jimmy was seven on Anton’s sixth birthday.

This summer, when Anton turned 12 and Jimmy turned 13.
We always love to have visitors, especially these two! what about you? What do you show to people in your hometown? Also, would you like the updated Jo NYC Guide cups, kids cups, teenagers and adults cups?
All past England trips, including our Brooklyn House tour, and my aunt’s house tour.
